This year's „World without borders“ carries the name „...and...“ and is taking place between August 31st and September 3rd in Osijek.
The theme of this year's „World without borders“ is Art and earth inspired by the worlds of forests and water. Since the Youth association Breza is a part of an Italian project called „Art&Earth“, and considering the fact that 2011. is the International year of forests, with this year's manifestation we wanted to show our fellow citizens just how important waters and forests are to our future. Our hardworking elementary school students and kindergarten children, from 15 different schools and kindergartens, have thought about the meaning and importance of water to mankind the whole year round and finally they have put their thoughts and observations down in a creative way by painting bottles. Their work is a part of this year's manifestation.
In the time period from August 31st to September 3rd there will be numerous workshops, presentations and lots of creative work that will help us evoke a completely new, water and forest, town inhabited with small fairies, dwarfs and curious creatures from Croatian fairy-tales, myths and legends.
