Fairytale planet of happy world/ In this art workshop we will make and paint parts of planet and puppets, fairytale characters (fairies, wizards, elves, princesses etc.) Our purpose is to create 3D installation of planet Earth that is connected with popular fairytale characters.

Children care for old game
In world without borders live Čokac people. In first workshop we will make big puppets- costumes of Čokac people and we will make creative play.
In second workshop we will make up story about Čokac people, story in which we will put in neverending abilities and possibilities of all participators (dance, singing, acrobation), we will rehearse some techniques of scenic expression and rehearse play for last day of manifestation.
In third workshop we will make and paint scene that we’ll use in final play and we will make huge 3D Čokac from scraps.
All of three workshops are connected.

BREAKDANCE

Workshop will be held twice a week in terms from 9-11am and from 6:30 till 8 pm.
Workshop is built-up from warming up, stretching, basic steps of brakedance, uprock and floorwork, basics of acrobatic, small combinations and little bit of history and theory. All learned material will be compound in dance act that will be showed on the last day of manifestation.

HIP HOP
Facilitator: Lucija Mikas. She graduated modern dance on dance academy “Balance 1” in Berlin. Choreographer. Dance pedagogue.

Workshop will be held all week twice a day. Workshop is built-up from warming up, stretching, basic steps of hip-hop, small combination and two choreographies that will be shown last day of manifestation. I’m looking forward to your arrival!

 

Film workshop (Camera go action)/ filming for several days and watching movies. In this workshop participators will make short movie on subject small pirates and tourists of abandoned city…
Besides that our intension is to record funny questionnaire with citizens… and all of that show where ever is possible.
For this workshop bring things for tourists, all that you can use for pirates, your camera, if you have it and lot of good will and creative thoughts…
Number of participators is limited to 20 divided in two groups (younger and older)

Nia dance
Dance path that grew from modern dance, jazz dance and Duncan dance and in it there are martial arts: Tai Chi, Tae Kwon Do and Aikido. For relaxing there will be used elements of Yoga, Feldenkrais and Aleksander technique.

In this workshop participators will do magic, fantasize, relax, drive and dream in unusual vehicles in neverending city and in neverending tornado house.

Čokac restaurant/ Boys and girls come to our restaurant because there’s always fresh and healthy food. We offer: fruit salads, tasty cookies, fruit kebabs and fruit sticks. You won’t be bored because you’ll drink fruit juice. Come, play and cook with us./Kindergarten Smješak from Zadar. Playgroup is intended for all ages.

Climbing- let’s climb to neverending Čokolaja/ In Novi kampus of University of Zadar you’ll be able to climb on crates to hill Čokolaja ( the biggest mountain in Čokac world)
Application for climbing is not required because climbing depends on your speed (5-20min)
When: Monday and Tuesday from 9 till 11am and from 6:30 till 8pm. In case of huge interest we will extend climbing time.

Magical carriage through city of neverending people/ you’ll be able to enjoy in magical carriage ride if you find it. If you want to get ticket for carriage ride you will have to decorate one part of carriage.
We will ride you through city to get to know Čokac better.

House of Čokac
Gorana Matacin, Edita Tošić & Hanja Kresović: Kindergarten Sunce-Zadar
… educators of pre-scholars. They do creative work every day in kindergarten but their creativity goes further than kindergarten.  They work with wool, paint, music, make puppets, act, write texts for children… They will use their abilities and talent in playgroup HOUSE OF ČOKAC. In this playgroup participators will make things for čokac from wool:
-    Making hats, flowers, bags and fillets
-    Making instruments
-    Dance
-    Composing
-     Singing
-    Director of orchestra and quire will be Čokac who will swing with hands the most.

AIKIDO is workshop for non violence, co-ordination mind and body and vitality*
In this workshop participators will get to know these exercises:
Aikido exercises are made for accomplishing inside harmony, communication and understanding others and overcoming violence.
Tai Chi Chuan exercises are for sense of movement and moving, breading and relaxing, familiarizing with principles of martial arts as a part of eastern culture and tradition and universal human heritage of tending body and soul.

I stayed without thinking
In this workshop we will try to find answers for many questions through game, stories and with a little help of animated friends. If you have many unanswered questions this workshop is just for you. Here are some questions that we will talk about: Do you like to think about things around you? Why does it rain fall? Why doesn’t moon fall on earth? What is friendship? How and why we love somebody? Who is wise? Why we have imagination? Where Pegasus and centaur did came from? What is important to me? Can differences connect us? Why are we criticizing? Should we criticize? Why are we here? Who is brave?

Philosophy of rock ‘n’ roll
Have you read a book Metallica and philosophy or Pink Floyd and philosophy? Can we combine old admirers of wisdom with modern rock path? Of course we can and we shall do it. We will listen to chosen rock songs (from 50s till now) and see who rockers are and what their philosophy is. Accessories for this workshop: Love towards rock ’n’ roll and pleasure for good debate.

Leonilda Conti-Ribić

Leonilda Conti-Ribić is Italian by origin but lives in Osijek. She graduated art on Art academy Carrara. She worked as a docent on art anatomy department on Art academy Aldo Gill in Bergam  and on several project in Germany, Austria, France and Brazil. From 2005 she works as a museum pedagogue in Gallery of visual arts in Osijek. She had several group and individual exhibitions.
Together with participators Leonilda will make mosaic at the entrance of Music school Blagoje Bersa in Zadar.

 

 

 

 

Meritas

Group Meritas - Meri Jaman/Anita Valo met in Germany where they lived until 1996. Until now they recorded four albums and had many concerts in country and abroad. They were pre-group of Vanesa Mae in Pula and in 2005 they won Porin in category vocal co-operation. At the moment they are recording new album. They are directors of many music youth workshops allover Croatia.

Nikola Faller

Nikola Faller studied sculpture in Belgrade. He worked as a professor of visual arts. He’s artistic director of “Slama association” and promoter of Land Art Festival “Slama”. He exhibits in Croatia and abroad.

Neon

NEON – people call him Boris Sekulić
He was born on September 18th 1989 in Osijek. He finished Art high school- art design and he is now a student of Art academy in Rijeka. He painted facade of his high school and for several years he is doing graffiti-art, participates in colonies and creative projects… Indian in soul… creativity in hands… Let’s see.
Boris will be facilitator of Graffiti-art-roza workshop in which participators can learn and apply street art technique and paint murals. Workshop is intendet for age 12 and up.

Mladen Kušec

Mladen Kušec was born and lives in Zagreb. He’s one of most creative authors of children literature who never gives up. In his books he tries to help people and children how to find themselves and how to recognize magic of life around them and to keep all the goodness in them and in the nature around them. For himself says: “I was always white crow so I was looking for them as an author. Children are positive small white crows too in which you’ll find something new”. He works as a reporter on Croatian radio in show” Here comes mail”
He will be facilitator of Children’ press center intended for all future reporters who will inform us what’s going on in city of neverending people. Workshop is intended for age 5-10 yrs.

Miranda Glavaš-Kul

Miranda Glavaš-Kul is a professor of Croatian language and literature. She works as a educator in facility for education of children and young people. She is director of many different creative workshops and she took lessons of Puppet Theater.
She will be facilitator of workshop Sardine snack for Bon appétit where participators will learn how to cook healthy and tasty meals. Workshop is intended for age 7 and up.

 

Mayumi Kamei i Wakana Takahashi

Mayumi Kamei (right) and Wakana Takahashi (left) will be facilitators of workshop Japanese dance and letters/ learning Japanese letters and dances. This workshop is intended for age 7 and up.
Mayumi was born in Tokyo where she started her musical education and graduated musical pedagogue on Chiba University. When she came to Croatia she attended and magistrate solo singing on Music school “Ino Mirković” in Lovran in class prof. Olga Šober. From 2000-2004 she worked as assistant and professor of solo singing. She held many concerts all over Japan, Brazil, Germany, Ireland, Slovenia and Croatia. She sang in Millennium concert of UN  in NY. She is a winner of several prestige awards.
Wakana was born in Sendaio (Japan) and now she lives and works in Rijeka.She learned basics of piano in early childhood in children music center Yamaha. 2002. she started studying on Music academy “Ivo Mirković” in Lovran. 2004. she moves over Music academy in Zagreb and she graduates there. She participated on many concerts all over Croatia, Japan and Austria. She is winner of several awards.

Matej Šimunić i Martina Bek

Matej Šimunić, 22-yearold student of PMF from Pula practices extreme monocycle riding for four years. His skills Matej improves with descent through Sljeme and he teaches other. 2008 he participated on first downhill competition for monocycles in Gradišće. Today he’s the best rider of monocycles in Croatia.

Martina Bek Martina Bek graduated  on Faculty of economics in Osijek. Former basketball player, after she participated in workshop for several years now she is facilitator of stilts workshop.
Matej and martina will be facilitators of circus workshop in which participator will learn to walk on stilts, ride monocycle and go to juggling school. Workshop is intended for age 7 and up.

 

Maša Kagao Knez

During her elementary and high school she was educated by several dance pedagogues in dance studio Intakt, dance center Ljubljana and dance theater Ljubljana and she regularly participated  in theater and dance workshops in Slovenia and other countries. Her mother ballerina and choreographer Jasna Knez had huge influence on her dance way and Maša performed with her and  she started to learn about dance and theater since she was six.
In Burkina Faso (Africa) she got to know traditional African dances. She dedicated herself to research and connection of two cultures, African and modern dance and tried to find her dance expression.
She finished school for African dances Arta Scene-Centre Momboye in Paris. She’s always smiling and wants to work with people from 6 till 66 yrs.
Maša will be facilitator of workshop African dance-Dalmatian anti stress where participators can learn how to dance in African rhythm. Workshop is intended for children age 12 and up.

Lučka Koščak

Lučka Koščak was born in Ljubljana but she lives and works in Switzerland. She finished Academy of applied arts in Ljubljana in 1986 and Ecole Superieure  D’Artvisuel in Geneva in 1990. From 1989 until now Lučka had many international exhibitions, got several awards and was facilitator of sculpture and art therapy course. More about Lučka and her work on www.luckakoscak.com
Lučka will bi facilitator of Clay workshop where she will together with her participators make clay sculptures. Workshop is intended for age 7 and up.

 

 

 

Jelena Radan

Jelena Radan lives and works in Zagreb. She started her career as a teenager singing with her band in Zagreb’s clubs. Until now she recorded three albums. She was nominated several times for music award Porin. She sang in theaters, had solo and collective concerts allover Croatia, Austria, Scotland, Germany and USA. Her last project was: member of jury on Croatian Idol.

Branko Trajkov - Trak

Branko Trajkov – Trak is a drummer of famous group “Zabranjeno pušenje”. Together with his band colleagues is directing workshop “Let’s bring music and rhythm on their eternal hearth”, in hearts of young people who were injured by mines.  Traks’ job is to guide participators to find their rhythm and to adjust with vibes of surrounding.

Škripzikl

Home theater ŠKRIPZIKL is constituted of IKIIKI duo. This is nonverbal theater and their plays are established on music from their own production. On that music actors do grotesque pantomime representing stories who are dedicated to silent film of 20th century. For the past three years of their work they filmed several spots/short films, in their own production, had concerts, pantomime, clown shows and they’ve been in several radio and TV shows. They will be facilitators of workshop Be silent when you’re talking- pantomime workshop on city’ streets. Workshop is intended for age 7 years and up.

 

Valentina Lacmanović

Valentina is dancer, choreographer and actress based in Amsterdam since 2008u. She was born in Sibenik and graduated Philosophy (Universite Paris St Denis) and Dramatic Art (Conservatoire National Superieur D’Art Dramatique) in Paris. Works as actress in France and studies contemporary dance until she gets the scholarship to learn dances and music of Rajasthan in India. Since that moment she decides to specialise in oriental dances. Back from India follows the professionnal training in Arabo – Berberian dances, Raqs Sharqui and she moves to Barcelona where continues the formation (Basis of Classical Indian Dances (Kathak, Bharatanatyam, Odisi), learns Sufi dance (which perfections in Istanbul), Persian dance, Butho dance, Thai-Chi… and works as professional dancer, choreographer and teacher. Past few years she focuses on dances of trance and creates multimedia performances based on contemporary interpretation of trance dances (Shedervish)

 

Dajana Ososlija

Dajana Ososlija završila je Školu za tekstil, dizajn i primijenjene umjetnosti, smjer slikarski dizajn. Upisala je Akademiju primijenjenih umjetnosti. O sebi kaže: „Znatiželjna sam, komunikativna osoba koja je želi steći nova iskustva,naučiti nešto novo kroz ostale kreativne radionice.Volim rad sa djecom, te svoje stečeno znanje i ljubav prema likovnom stvaranju željela bi prenijeti maštovitoj djeci kojoj treba poticaja da oslobode i pokažu svoju kreativnost kroz boje, jer mislim da u svakom djetetu čuči mali kretivac“.
Dajana će voditi radionicu Tijela čokačke provinijencije/oslikavanje tijela (body art) namijenjenu uzrastu od 14 godina na dalje.
