This year The Land without Borders is called “I am dreaming...“ It will be held between the 31st of August and the 5th of September 2009 in Tvrdja.  In the old town centre Tvrdja artists, educational staff and children should make an ecological “THE TOWN OF DREAMS”. We are going to include more than 2000 children and youth from Osijek and the other parts of Croatia. It is possible to join the project as a pupil of the school or a member of the particular institution and association, individual as a participant or a workshop-leader or as a presenter who has prepared a program that can be incorporated in the project. The town of dreams is going to be established for six days, and is going to include parts of the actual life created in a way that would be interesting to audience and visitors who are going to visit the whole performance last day of manifestation. As an example we can point out: the dream shop, the restaurant “Yummy, Yummy! “, a little classroom, the cinema of happy thoughts, recycled car transport, unusual home: a green dream where is all made of plants, or sweet home that can be eaten ... special music and dances, and more ... Due to the large interest of children we are planning to revive Park King Tomislav in a way that kindergartens in Osijek with their teachers will design the World of Angels. Dance group "Beginners" from the Children's Theatre B. Mihaljevic will create the Fairies’ cottage - a magnificent world dwelled with small fairies and the kindergarten The Rainbow Colours will revive The Town of Fairies. Every evening from 18-20 pm parents will be allowed to bring their children to be part of this world (to carry the wings, eat angelic cookies, swing on the angelic swings or something else ....) The news is that this year the children want to establish THE FIRST PRESS CHILDREN'S CENTER, which will inform the public about the events in "The Land without Borders" during the event. Any personal idea in preparing the project is welcome and everyone is invited to write, call and join us!!! |
